Adrián Tokár je študiral pravo v Bratislavi in Bruslju, svojo karierno pot pa je začel leta 2000 v vodilni odvetniški pisarni v Bratislavi (Slovaška) kot specialist za korporacijsko pravo. Institucijam EU se je pridružil leta 2004, najprej na prevajalskem oddelku Sodišča in nato v pravni službi Komisije. V pravni službi je bil med letoma 2011 in 2017 odgovoren za direktive o javnih naročilih. Takrat je tudi v številnih zadevah pred Sodiščem zastopal Komisijo v zvezi z javnimi naročili in drugimi pravnimi zadevami EU.
Adrián Tokár studied law in Bratislava and Brussels and started his career in 2000 in a leading law firm in Bratislava (Slovakia), working on corporate matters. He joined the EU institutions in 2004, first the translation department of the Court of Justice and then the Legal Service of the Commission. He was in charge of the public procurement directives within the Legal Service between 2011 and 2017 and represented the Commission in numerous cases in front of the Court of Justice relating to public procurement and other matters of EU law.
